Arrival days
In the period July 3 - August 14, Saturday is arrival / departure day. In other periods, you are generally free to choose the day of arrival of the week. In some periods, however, due to the other bookings at Munken, there may be restrictions on the choice of arrival day. You basically do not have to rent for whole weeks either. It allows you to put together the holiday completely according to your choice, just as you can choose to travel on the cheapest ferry days. The cheapest ferry days are usually Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Arrival time
You will be able to check in to your holiday apartment from 4 PM. Read more under “Keys”.
Departure time
On the day of your departure, we ask that you leave the holiday apartment no later than 10:00 AM, so that we can prepare the apartment for the next guests.
Baby package
You can rent a baby package consisting of: High chair, crib, stroller (sturdy umbrella stroller with a canopy, where the backrest can be fully reclined), changing pad, and bathtub. We kindly ask you to reserve the baby package when you make your booking.
Cleaning
A holiday is a holiday! We take care of the cleaning prior to your arrival and following your departure, so that you can rest easy knowing that you will arrive at a clean apartment, and you will not have to worry about cleaning before your departure. When you book your holiday with us, cleaning is always included in your fee, and there will be no extra cleaning charges. On your departure, we ask that you have placed all of your rubbish in the bin bag, and that you have washed the dishes.
Barbeque
All holiday apartments at Munken are owned by individual private individuals, where some have a barbecue for their holiday apartment, while other owners have not wanted to have a barbecue. We can therefore not guarantee that there is a barbecue at your holiday apartment - but if there is no barbecue, then you are always welcome to bring a barbecue yourself if you want to grill. Just remember to consider the neighbors when grilling. Be aware that you must clean the grill yourself after your use.
Book more than one apartment
If you wish to book more than one apartment, all you have to do is book one apartment, and make a note in the comment section, of how many apartments you would like to book. We will take care of your reservation manually. Of course, you are always welcome to call us on (+45) 56 95 85 66.
Bus to Munken
The bus stop, which connects you to all bus routes on Bornholm, is approximately 250 meters from Munken. The timetable for the bus routes and an overview map of all bus routes on Bornholm can be found here: www.bat.dk
Dishtowel, toilet paper, etc.
Upon your arrival, you will find a dishtowel, dishcloth, and a start-up inventory of toilet paper and kitchen towels, in your holiday apartment. Should you require extra, we ask that you bring, or purchase, this yourself.
Dogs
Unfortunately, it is not allowed to bring pets in Munken's holiday apartments. If you want to take your pet on holiday, you can click here for inspiration for resorts where you can take your four-legged friend with you.
Duvets / Bed linen
There are duvets and pillows in the apartment. Bed linen and towels are therefore the only thing you must bring yourself. Alternatively, you can rent a linen package, consisting of sheets, pillow and duvet covers as well as a large and a small towel, for DKK 22 EUR per person. Remember to pre-order if you want to rent bed linen / towels.
Electric cars
Unfortunately, it is not legal to charge electric cars by pulling power cables out of the holiday apartment, as the resort's electricity network is not built for the load from electric cars. If you have an electric car, we instead refer you to charging at the public charging stations nearby.
Freezing opportunities
All apartments at Munken have a refrigerator with a small freezer.
Grill
The holiday apartments at Munken are owned by individual private persons, with some having a barbecue for their holiday apartment, while other owners did not want a barbecue. We therefore cannot guarantee that there is a grill at your holiday apartment - but if there is not, you are always welcome to bring your own grill if you wish to grill. Just remember to consider the neighbors when you grill. Please note that you must clean the grill yourself after use.

At Munken you have free internet.
Keys
When you receive your holiday confirmation, we will also send you information on how to get the key to your apartment.
Parking
You will enjoy free parking at Munkens holiday apartments.
Payment terms
We ask that you make a deposit of 25% of the total fee, no more than 10 days after receiving your order confirmation. We ask that you pay the residual sum no later than 45 days prior to your arrival. If you have made your reservation less than 45 days before your arrival, we ask that you pay the fee in full, the day after receiving your order confirmation.
Washing machine
If you need to wash your clothing during your holiday stay, you have the opportunity to borrow a washing machine for free in the laundry room at Munken.
