Arrival days
During high season, Sunday is the set arrival and departure day. Outside the high season, there are no set days for arrival or departure, which provides you the opportunity for mini breaks.
Time of arrival
You will be able to check in to your holiday apartment from 3:00 PM.
Time of departure
On the day of departure, we ask that you leave the holiday apartment no later than 10:00 AM, so that we can prepare the apartment for the next guests.
Allergy-friendly apartments
All apartments on Strandpromenade are non-smoking. If you are allergic to pets, you can choose a pet-free apartment. Just let us know this in connection with your booking, and we will make sure to reserve an allergy-friendly apartment for you. Any allergies to down are also no problem, as our duvets and pillows do not contain down.
Baby package
You can rent a baby package consisting of: High chair, crib, stroller (sturdy umbrella stroller with a canopy, where the backrest can be fully reclined), changing pad, and bathtub. We kindly ask you to reserve the baby package when you make your booking.
Book more than one apartment
If you wish to book more than one apartment, all you have to do is book one apartment, and make a note in the comment section, of how many apartments you would like to book. We will take care of your reservation manually. Of course, you are always welcome to call us on (0045) 56 95 85 66.
Bus
If you wish to take to bus to Strandpromenaden, the bus stop is approximately 350 meters away from Strandpromenaden. The schedule for all bus routes on Bornholm can be found here: bat.dk.
Cleaning
A holiday is a holiday! We take care of the cleaning prior to your arrival and following your departure, so that you can rest easy knowing that you will arrive at a clean apartment, and you will not have to worry about cleaning before your departure. When you book your holiday with us, cleaning is always included in your fee, and there will be no extra cleaning charges. On your departure, we ask that you have placed all of your rubbish in the bin bag, and that you have washed the dishes.
Disability conditions
Unfortunately, we do not recommend guest with physical disabilities to stay at Strandpromenaden. Please contact us on phone +45 56 95 85 66 for advice and guidance if you need a holiday home more suitable for people with physical disabilities.
Dishtowel, toilet paper, etc.
Upon your arrival, you will find a dishtowel, dishcloth, and a start-up inventory of toilet paper and kitchen towels, in your holiday apartment. Should you require extra, we ask that you bring, or purchase, this yourself.
Dogs
In one of the apartments at Strandpromenaden, it is permitted to bring dogs/cats. If you wish to bring your four-legged friend on holiday, we ask that you inform us of this when making your reservation. Due to the extra cleaning required, we charge a fee of 48 EUR, for bringing a dog/cat. If you are bringing three dogs, or more, the fee is 96 EUR. The fee covers the entirety of your stay. It is easy to bring your dog to Bornholm – even if you are travelling through Sweden, as long as you honour the requirements from the Swedish Customs Agency. Duvets and bed linen
There are duvets and pillows in the apartment. Bed linen and towels are therefore the only thing you must bring yourself. Alternatively, you can rent a linen package, consisting of sheets, pillow and duvet covers as well as a large and a small towel, for DKK 22 EUR per person. Remember to pre-order if you want to rent bed linen / towels.
Electric cars
Unfortunately, it is not legal to charge electric cars by pulling power cables out of the holiday apartment, as the resort's electricity network is not built for the load from electric cars. If you have an electric car, we instead refer you to charging at the public charging stations nearby.
Grill
Unfortunately, due to the risk of fire, grilling is not permitted on the apartments' terraces/balconies. However, you are always welcome to bring your own barbecue, as you can grill in the courtyard..
Internet
Apartment A, B and D have wireless internet access. The connection speed may vary depending on the number of simultaneous users. If you need to use the internet for work purposes, we recommend that you bring your own mobile connection. Slow or faulty internet connection will not be grounds for financial compensation.
Non-smoking apartments
All apartments at Strandpromenaden are non-smoking.
Parking
You will enjoy free parking at Strandpromenaden.
Kitchenware
The apartments at Strandpromenaden all have well-equipped kitchens. As such, there is no need for you to bring any equipment or tableware. All apartments have dishwashing machines.
Refrigerator/freezer
All apartments have refrigerators with a small freezer compartment.
Shopping
The upermarkets Netto and SuperBrugsen can be found in Allinge, just 2.5 kilometres from the apartments.
Payment terms
We ask that you make a deposit of 25 % of the total fee, no more than 10 days after receiving your order confirmation. We ask that you pay the residual sum no later than 45 days prior to your arrival. If you have made your reservation less than 45 days before your arrival, we ask that you pay the fee in full, the day after receiving your order confirmation.
Washing machine
Coin operated washing machines are available at Strandpromenaden.
