Time of arrival
You can enter the holiday home from 4 PM on the day of arrival. If necessary, read more under the item "Keys".
Time of departure
On the day of departure, please leave the holiday home no later than 10:00 AM, so that there is time for the cottage to be cleaned for the next guests.
Arrival days
* Day of arrival:
* 1/5 to 30/6: Optional arrival day and you do not have to rent Havhytten for whole weeks. You can also book mini-holidays of ex 3-4 nights.
* 1/7 to 8/7: Arrival and departure day is Friday
* 9/7 to 28/8: Arrival and departure day is Sunday
* 29/8 to 31/10: Optional arrival day and you do not have to rent Havhytten for whole weeks. You can also book mini-holidays of ex 3-4 nights.
Baby package
You can rent a baby package consisting of: High chair, crib, stroller (sturdy umbrella stroller with a canopy, where the backrest can be fully reclined), changing pad, and bathtub. We kindly ask you to reserve the baby package when you make your booking.
Bicycles
As a guest of Havhytten, you can borrow bicycles for free. The bikes are 50 meters from the cottage. Just remember to bring your own bicycle helmet and possibly bicycle lights if you want to cycle in the evening.
Bus to Havhytten
The bus stop at Boderne is approximately 500 meters from Havhytten. The timetable for the bus routes and an overview map of all bus routes on Bornholm can be found here: www.bat.dk
Cleaning
Holidays must be holidays! Therefore, we make sure to clean the cottage on arrival and departure, so you are always sure that the cottage is properly cleaned on your arrival, and you are free from the work of cleaning yourself before your departure. When you book through us, cleaning is always included in your rental price. You therefore do not have to pay extra for the cleaning. Upon your departure, we therefore ask you to simply make sure that the furniture is put in place, the kitchen service is washed up, and any waste is handed in at the area's environmental station.
Disability conditions
Havhytten is not suitable as a holiday resort for you if you have difficulty walking, as the bedrooms are located on the 1st floor. Please contact us on phone +45 56 95 85 66 for advice and guidance if you need a holiday home more suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Dogs
It is possible to bring your dog to Havhytten. If you want to bring your 4-legged friend, please let us know when booking your holiday home. Due to the extra cleaning that we have to perform, it costs EUR 48,- to bring your dog with you. If you bring 3 or more dogs, the price is EUR 96,-. The price is valid for the entire stay. It is easy for you to take your dog to Bornholm - even if you travel via Sweden. Just remember to meet the requirements of the Swedish customs authorities. Usually, the rules for importing animals into Sweden are restrictive. However, the rules are very relaxed when you are "just" in transit to Bornholm. Read more here: Dog / cat to Bornholm
Duvets / Bed linen
There are duvets and pillows in the cottage. Bed linen and towels are therefore the only thing you must bring yourself. Alternatively, you can rent a linen package, consisting of sheets, pillow and duvet covers as well as a large and a small towel, for EUR: 22,- per person. Remember to pre-order on +45 56 95 85 66 or add it to your booking online on the booking form, if you want to rent bed linen / towels.
Electric cars
Unfortunately, it is not legal to charge electric cars by pulling power cables out of the Havhytten, as the electricity network of the holiday home is not built for the load from electric cars. If you have an electric car, we instead refer you to charging at the public charging stations nearby.
Grill
There is a barbecue at your disposal at Havhytten, which you can use freely. Please note that you must clean the grill yourself after use.
Internet
There is free Wi-Fi in Havhytten. The transmission power may vary depending on the number of users. If you need to use the Internet connection for business purposes, we therefore recommend that you bring your own mobile broadband. If the network does not work optimally, this does not provide a basis for financial compensation. The code for the internet can be found in the cottage.
Keys
When you receive your holiday confirmation, we will also inform you about how to get the key to Havhytten. It works easily - and it's no problem if you arrive late at night.
Parking lot
The holiday home has its own enclosed parking space.
Power consumption
Electricity and water consumption are included in your rental price free of charge.
Purchase
The nearest shopping opportunity is in Super Brugsen in Aakirkeby, which is located about 6 km from the cottage.
Terms of payment
We kindly ask you to pay a deposit of 25% of the price of the trip within 10 days after you have received our confirmation of your booking. The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before your arrival. If you book less than 45 days before your arrival, we ask you to pay the day after you have received our confirmation of your booking.
Towels, toilet paper and more
Upon arrival, there is a tea towel, dishcloth and a boot stock of toilet paper in the cottage. If you need more, you must make sure to bring / purchase this yourself.
