Stay in a merchant’s house from the 1700s
In the best possible location on Bornholm, directly on the harbour in Svaneke, you will find Østersøen Ferielejligheder. The old merchant’s house from the 1700s has been rebuilt into 21 lovely holiday apartments. The courtyard, in the middle of the old house, has been converted to a garden with fig trees, palm trees, and a swimming pool (open and heated between 1 June and 1 September).

The apartments are designed for 2-10 people, and all have a charming sun terrace, or an amazing view of Svaneke Harbour and the Baltic Sea. You have the option of arriving and departing any day of the week, and there is no need for you to book entire weeks. During peak season (July and August), some apartments are only let on a weekly basis, with set days for arrival/departure.

Apartment for 2-3 people
The apartments for 2-3 people have the following layout: Hallway, Bedroom/alcove, combined bed- and living room (with pull-out sofa-bed), kitchen, and bathroom. Some of the apartments may have sloping walls. None of the apartments for 2-3 people have sea view. If you want sea view, you will need to choose an apartment for 2-4 people, or 4-6 people.
Apartment for 2-4 people
The apartments for 2-4 people have the following layout: Hallway, bedroom (sleeps 2), combined bed- and living room (with pull-out sofa-bed), kitchen, and bathroom. The pull-out sofa-bed is of good quality, but we mainly recommend that only one adult, or two children, sleep here. At a small additional fee, you can book an apartment with sea view.
Apartment for 4-6 people
The apartments for 4 to 6 people have the following layout: Hallway, two bedrooms (both sleep 2), combined bed- and living room (with pull-out sofa-bed), kitchen, and bathroom. All apartments for 4-6 people have dishwashing machines. The pull-out sofa-bed is of good quality, but we mainly recommend that only one adult, or two children, sleep here. At a small additional fee, you can book an apartment with sea view.
Summerhouse
Summerhouse for 8-10 people
* Ground floor: Hallway, bathroom, kitchen with dishwashing machine, dining room (sleeps 3-4 people), large living room with fireplace and access to terrace.
* First floor: Bathroom and three bedrooms (sleeps 7 in total).
* Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the summerhouse

* The house is the former Manager’s Residence for Østersøen Holiday Apartments. The summerhouse, located just 5 meters from Østersøen Holiday Apartments, is usually referred to as "Postgadehuset", as the address is Postgade 2 in Svaneke
