Krølle Bølle and the UFO's
Allinge and Nordbornholm are also home to Bornholm's legendary figure - the little troll boy "Krølle Bølle". Whether it is Krølle Bølle who is at stake or not cannot be said, but in the book "Mysterious Denmark" there are many accounts of mysterious luminous objects which move at high speed across the sky in Northern Bornholm. For example, a German tourist has seen a plate-shaped craft fly out from Hammerknuden through a large opening that suddenly appeared in the rock face. Shortly afterwards, several yachtsmen reported seeing a similar craft take off from the sea at Hammerknuden and continue vertically into the sky until they lost sight of it.
Exciting boat trip from Hammerhavnen
From Hammerhavnen below Hammershus, it is not spaceships, but small cozy boats that take you on a trip along the coast. Seen from the water side, the rocky coast becomes even more dramatic. When you pass below the old castle ruins of Hammershus, you will be able to vividly imagine that the castle was an impregnable fortress in the turbulent Denmark of the Middle Ages. The experiences are spiced up by stories from your boat driver - and that certainly does not make the experiences any less exciting.
