Arrival days
As a rule, there are no set days for arrival or departure. As such, you are able to plan your holiday completely according to your own wishes – and you can choose to travel on the days when the ferry is cheapest. Usually, the ferry is cheapest on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays.
Arrival time
You will be able to check in to your holiday apartment from 4 PM. If necessary, read more under the item "Key handover", if you arrive late at night.
Departure time
On the day of departure, we ask that you leave the holiday apartment no later than 10 AM, so that we can prepare the apartment for the next guests.
Baby package
You can rent a baby package consisting of: High chair, crib, stroller (sturdy umbrella stroller with a canopy, where the backrest can be fully reclined), changing pad, and bathtub. We kindly ask you to reserve the baby package when you make your booking. You should pick up the baby package at the reception upon your arrival, and we ask you to return the equipment to the reception at your departure.
Book more than one apartment
If you wish to book more than one apartment, all you have to do is book one apartment, and make a note in the comment section, of how many apartments you would like to book. We will then take care of your reservation manually. Of course, you are always welcome to call us on (0045) 56 95 85 66.
Bus
Dueodde Beach Apartmentsis 150 meters from the Dueodde bus stop. This allows you to easily get to and from the rest of Bornholm, even if you do not have a car on your holiday. The timetable for the bus routes and an overview map of all bus routes on Bornholm can be found here: www.bat.dk
Bicycle rental
You can rent bicycles at Møllers Camping, located just 300 meters from Dueodde Beach Apartments
Duvets / Bed linen
Holiday apartments and cottages: There are duvets and pillows in the apartment / cottage. Bed linen and towels are therefore the only thing you must bring yourself. Alternatively, you can rent a linen package, consisting of sheets, pillow and duvet covers as well as a large and a small towel for 22 EUR per person.
Disabled access
The holiday apartments on the ground floor are wheelchair friendly – for example, wide doors, and no doorsteps. However, the bathroom is not as suitable, with limited space and a bathtub. Please inform us if you are bringing a wheelchair, and we will do out utmost to find you the most suitable holiday apartment. From Dueodde Beach Apartments, the beach is accessible by a wooden walkway.
Cleaning
A holiday is a holiday! We take care of the cleaning prior to your arrival and following your departure, so that you can rest easy knowing that you will arrive at a clean apartment, and you will not have to worry about cleaning before your departure. When you book your holiday with us, cleaning is always included in your fee, and there will be no extra cleaning charges. On your departure, we ask that you have placed all of your rubbish in the bin bag, and that you have washed the dishes.
Dishtowel, toilet paper, etc.
Upon your arrival, you will find a dishtowel, dishcloth, and a start-up inventory of toilet paper and kitchen towels, in your holiday apartment. Should you require extra, we ask that you bring, or purchase, this yourself.
Electric cars
There are charging stations for electric cars about 200 meters from Dueodde Beach Apartments. Unfortunately, it is not possible or legal to charge with an extension cord from your holiday apartment.
Grill
All holiday homes at Dueodde Beach Apartments are owned by individual private individuals, some of whom have a barbecue for their holiday home, while other owners do not wish to have a barbecue. We therefore cannot guarantee that there is a grill at your holiday home - but if there is not a grill, you can always choose to bring a grill yourself. You are also welcome to use the large shared grills in the park area in front of the Dueodde Beach Apartments. When you grill, please consider the other guests at Dueodde Beach Apartments, and remember to clean the grill after use.
Hypoallergenic apartments
All apartments at Dueodde Beach Apartments are non-smoking. If you have a pet allergy, you can choose to stay in one of the pet-free apartments. Please inform us of your allergy when making your reservation, and we will book you into one of the hypoallergenic apartments. None of our pillows or duvets are stuffed with down, so an allergy to down will not be a problem.
Internet
All apartments at Dueodde Beach Apartments have wireless internet access. The connection speed may vary depending on the number of simultaneous users. If you need to use the internet for work purposes, we recommend that you bring your own mobile connection. Slow or faulty internet connection will not be grounds for financial compensation.
Iron and ironing board
Both iron and ironing board is available, free of charge. You will find them in the laundry room.
Kitchenware
The holiday apartments with balcony/terrace and the summer house, all have kitchens with stove and oven. Kitchen- and tableware is available in the holiday homes.
Keys
You can collect your key in the reception at Dueodde Beach Apartments. If you arrive outside the reception’s opening hours, we will inform you where you will be able collect your key.
Non-smoking apartments
All holiday homes at Dueodde Beach Apartments are non-smoking indoors, and smoking on terraces/balconies is not permitted. However, you are welcome to smoke in the large park area at Dueodde Beach Apartments.
Parking
While staying at at Dueodde Beach Apartments, you will enjoy free parking.
Pets
In some of the apartments at Dueodde Beach Apartments, it is permitted to bring dogs/cats. If you wish to bring your four-legged friend on holiday, we ask that you inform us of this when making your reservation. Due to the extra cleaning required, we charge a fee of EUR 48, for bringing a dog/cat. If you are bringing three dogs, or more, the fee is EUR 96. The fee covers the entirety of your stay. It is easy to bring your dog to Bornholm – even if you are travelling through Sweden, as long as you honour the requirements from the Swedish Customs Agency. Shopping
At Dueodde, you will be able to buy most essentials. Further shopping can take place in Snogebæk, approximately 5 kilometres away.
Terms of payment
We ask that you make a deposit of 25 % of the total fee, no more than 10 days after receiving your order confirmation. We ask that you pay the residual sum no later than 45 days prior to your arrival. If you have made your reservation less than 45 days before your arrival, we ask that you pay the fee in full, the day after receiving your order confirmation.
Washing machine and tumble dryer
The laundry room at Dueodde Beach Apartments is available free of charge.
